An amazing Melbourne mansion owned by businessman Andrew Cox has hit the market with an eye-watering price guide of $13.5million-$14.3million.

This is the third time in three years the billionaire has tried to offload the glorious 132-year-old Italianate-style Brighton home.

Well known in the sporting world as the former owner of the Melbourne Rebels Super Rugby Club, Cox, 55, first put his gorgeous seven-bedroom, six-bathroom pad up for sale in April 2021.

Last changing hands in 2006 for $5.71m, Cox had high hopes for a big price after another mansion nearby sold for over $10m in February, 2021.

But it appears that the $18m-$19million price tag for the lavish sprawl proved too rich for buyers.
