Pandemonium Rocks reveals huge line-up changes after reassuring fans it will ... trends now

Pandemonium Rocks has revealed some major line-up changes after reassuring fans that it will still go ahead.

The new rock festival was hit by reports of a cancellation, after a string of Australian festivals got the axe, but organisers confirmed it will be going ahead next month.

They told fans earlier this week that it would be going ahead with 'some changes' and have now confirmed exactly what alterations will be made to the music event.

In a statement, organisers revealed that Pandemonium Rocks will go ahead on a smaller scale, becoming a one-stage event rather than taking place across two stages.

The festival currently lists legendary rock acts Blondie, Alice Cooper, Placebo, Deep Purple and Wheatus as headliners, but a revised line-up will soon be announced amid the changes.

A social media statement read: 'Pandemonium Rocks will be changing to a one-stage event. All dates remain the same. A revised line-up will be announced after Easter.

'For the sake of transparency, we are still waiting on responses from festival stakeholders across multiple time zones, which has a run on effect on ticketing, production, artwork, etc.

'We appreciate this may not be the update you were hoping for, but in order to avoid further confusion, we will share confirmed details as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.'

The festival - set to tour across Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast next month - has faced a range of challenges since announcing its line-up in January.

Earlier this year, the festival attracted some controversy when it was scheduled to clash with the traditional Anzac Day march in Sydney.

Thousands of revellers were expected to flock to the Domain in Sydney on April 25 for the day-long Pandemonium event.
