Joanna Page is SLAMMED by fans after she brands BBC comedy 'unbearable and ... trends now

Joanna Page has received a slew of criticism from fans online after admitting she found the BBC comedy Things You Should Have Done 'unbearable.'

The Gavin and Stacey star, 47, didn't shy away from discussing her thoughts on the six-part series on her podcast Off The Telly, admitting several times that she was 'bored' while watching the show.

Joanna's comments were quickly berated by fans online, who insisted she should 'know better' as a performer in the industry.

However, it was the sitcom's creator Lucia Keskin, or Chi with a C, who had the last laugh, as she posted a hilarious reaction to Joanna's comments on TikTok.

Speaking to Natalie Cassidy, Joanna offered her thoughts on Chi's show, which focuses on a young woman adjusting to adulthood following the death of her parents.

Joanna ranted: 'Things You Should Have Done? You know what things I should have done – not bothered to f*****g watch it

'I think she's obviously talented. I thought the show was s**t. I don't often think that, right?

'I want to say ''Well done on you right because you got your own show.'' I haven't got my own show. I've not written anything so you know, flipping heck, that's amazing.

'I thought it was unbearable. It's not often I can't watch something. I was so bored. I was so bored

'My mother could have written it. My mother could have done it. I just thought ''My God, this is just unbearable. I'm so bored. I just genuinely am bored. I'm bored'''

Attempting to offer another side to the discussion, Natalie added: 'You are either going to love it, or you're going to hate it.'

In response to Joanna's comments, Chi shared a hilarious reaction video that showed her eating a banana, while audio was played of the actress' comments about her show.

Lucia, who has previously shared she was a fan of Gavin and Stacey, ended the clip by walking over to a framed photograph of the comedy's cast.
