Ant and Dec joined in the fun as they alleged they were taking a break from showbiz and TV - to spend more time in the kitchen.
In the hilarious announcement, they posed together in a black and white snap with tops adorned with the slogan 'Taste Matters', with the caption: 'We’ve been stewing on this for a while but wanted you to hear it from us first'.
In quotes alongside, Ant said: 'I believe that food has the power to bring people together and create cherished memories...
'That's how my family feel when I make them beans on toast. I am excited to embark on this culinary journey with my sous chef, Dec.'
Dec meanwhile wrote about his love of cheese and branded Ant 'a brilliant pot washer' - however they failed to trick any fans with the post.
