Love Island star Amy Hart opens up about cruel trolling over her post-pregnancy ... trends now

Love Island star Amy Hart has opened up about how cruel trolls send her 'unkind' messages about her weight following the birth of her son Stanley.

The TV personality, 31, has been candid about how her body has changed in the year since she and fiancé Sam Ranson welcomed their first child.

But despite advocating for body confidence Amy said she has been trolled online over her weight gain, with one person calling her 'disgustingly ugly'.

Speaking to Closer, Amy said: 'Being in the public eye is fortunate and me and others are trying to lead the way when it comes to body confidence, but I still get unkind messages.'

She added: 'I got a message the other day, saying "Hi Amy you are absolutely devastatingly ugly and you need to sort it out".'

She said some people will leave nasty messages about how she is now unrecognisable and others will jump to her defence citing that she has had a baby.

But Amy said that does not put the argument to rest, as trolls will slam having become a mother as no excuse for weight gain.

Amy said that after giving birth she felt insecure, because she was trying to dress as she had done before and it did not work.
