Stacey Solomon's eldest son Zach, 15, makes rare TV appearance as he cringes at ... trends now

Stacey Solomon roped in her family as she tackled a major transformation on the series finale of Sort Your Life Out on Tuesday night.

The presenter of the hit BBC show called on her eldest son Zachary, 15, to help her out with some DIY as she decluttered and made over a family home in Surrey.

Viewers were full of praise for 'lovely' teenager Zach as he made a rare TV appearance alongside his mum, step-dad Joe Swash and siblings Rex, four, Rose, two and Belle, 13 months.  

Zach is Stacey's oldest child. She gave birth aged 18 and split from his dad Dean Cox shortly before the birth. The star is also mum to Leighton, 11, with her ex fiance Aaron Barham who she split from in 2014, while Joe is dad to her three youngest children.

As Stacey and her team rushed to complete their latest Sort Your Life Out transformation, she asked Zach to lend her hand with some of her famous DIY crafts.

The teenager did not look impressed with his mum's idea to decorate a children's room with a stick and some plastic animals but did win praise for his tea-making skills.

Later, Zach advised his mum on what to include in the spare room makeover, which was being transformed into a bedroom ready for the homeowners Shirley and Martin to start fostering.

Explaining that a teenager would be living there, Stacey asked Zach what he thought of the room, and he advised the team should include a desk. 

Viewers were full of praise for Zach calling him 'lovely', 'pleasant' and 'pretty funny too.'

Stacey has previously spoken about her close bond with her eldest child after she fell pregnant at just 17-years-old.

Sharing an Instagram post to mark Zach's 14th birthday she reflected how her son had given her 'purpose'.

'The truth is you changed my whole life. I could never have comprehended the light and love you would bring,' Stacey wrote.
