Rebel Wilson revealed she 'truly' experienced an orgasm by herself at age 39.

The 44-year-old actress recalled the climactic moment occurring in 2019, which she referred to as her 'Year of Love' in her new memoir Rebel Rising.

This comes shortly after she said she lost her virginity at age 35 to her ex-boyfriend Mickey Gooch Jr. in her book.

In a passage from her book obtained by People, the Pitch Perfect star explained that she went on dates with about 50 men and had sex with two of them.

However, she said she did not 'truly' experience an orgasm until she began exploring her body and solo pleasure.

'I'd never really learned about orgasms,' she wrote. 'When I'd had sex over the past few years, I'd never really thought about my pleasure.'

She said that until then, her experience with intimacy revolved around pleasuring her male partners rather than herself.

'It was more about the guy climaxing, and then pretty quickly sex was over,' she recalled. 'And while I had experienced pleasure, I don't think at this point I'd truly had an orgasm.'

She added: 'I might've thought I had...' 

Sometime during her 'Year of Love', she explained that she listened to podcasts about self-pleasure and was inspired to purchase sex toys online.

'I truly experienced an orgasm for the first time at 39 just by myself,' she said.

And she recalled asking herself: 'Is this what I was missing out on?'
