He announced on Wednesday through his social media platforms that he is in a romantic relationship with the One Day at a Time star.

He continued: 'Life is crazy, kids. It just is. Goodnough said that amid 'a certain bit of gossip' they were involved, he decided to 'address it head on' and consulted with Bertinelli 'out of respect' and 'reached out to [her] in question directly to discuss the matter with [her] prior to writing this.
