Christie Swadling has shocked her fans after revealing she eats the entire prawn including the head and tail.

The influencer shared a photo to Instagram on Wednesday of a romantic dinner her fiancé Joel Price had prepared for her.

Christie, 29, explained Joel had left the tail and heads on the prawns as she enjoys eating them.

Instagram account Keeping Up With Aussie Influencers reposted the image to their page and expressed their shock at Christie's confession.

'Christie Swadling said she eats prawn with head and tail. Is this a thing?? I don't eat meat or seafood. Please tell me people don't eat things with eyes looking at you!!??' they wrote.

In the original post, Christie shared a photo of her plate which consisted of prawns, Greek salad and oysters.
