Bette Midler started her week with quite the unique pitch to her followers on X, asking them to help her get a guest-starring role on ABC's Abbott Elementary.
Midler, 78, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday morning, asking her 2 million followers to help connect her to Abbott Elementary star/creator Quinta Brunson.
'Since I'm now using this website to pitch myself on TV shows, I would also like to play Melissa Schemmenti's mother on Abbott Elementary,' she said, referring to Lisa Ann Walter's character.
Midler added in the tweet, 'If you see Quinta Brunson, please tell her,' since Brunson is no longer active on X, though she is still verified on Instagram.
One fan on Instagram - @sdvicto - copied and pasted Midler's tweet for Brunson to see, though it's unclear if she has at this time.
