Lily Allen has revealed she will be flying in first class while her daughter Ethel sits in economy for their upcoming trip to London.
The singer, who shares daughters Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 11, with her ex husband Sam Cooper, made the confession during the latest episode of her podcast Miss Me? with her childhood friend Miquita Oliver.
The hitmaker, who now lives in New York with her husband David Harbour, explained she will be coming to London to visit Miquita for her 40th birthday celebrations on Thursday, but she won't be travelling sitting next to her daughter.
She told her friend: 'We are flying to London today to come and see you for your birthday. I'm going in first class, she's going in economy.'
As the pair laughed, Miquita joked: 'Wow, Merry Christmas Ethel,' before asking 'You what that is?'

Lily joked: 'Selfish?' as Miquita continued: 'The circle of life. That baby is now coming to London because you live in New York for my 40th birthday, which we are having at the end of the road we grew up on.'
