 He shot to fame with a slew of hits in the late Nineties and early Noughties. 

 And as a member of one of the biggest fans of the era, this Scottish rocker would be instantly recognisable to any music fans of the time. 

Yet his new look would easily make this a challenge, as this iconic star has swapped his trademark style for a wholly more bold style. 

Having been known for his mohawk and baker boy caps back in the day, the star has replaced his look with bright orange hair and statement glasses to coincide with the band's release of new music and comeback to the scene.

The Scottish rock group hit their stride in the late 1990s and early noughties with their hit singles including Sing, Side, Flowers In The Window and Driftwood.

But fans of the group - who have two Brit Awards and have sold over 10m records - wouldn't be blamed for not picking Fran with his new look.

Travis has continued to make music and sell records since their heyday - with their new album L.A. Times due for release on July 12.

During a recent promo interview, Fran spoke about his previous style and even admitted that he believed David Beckham stole his look.  

He alleged that David's iconic mohican haircut was inspired by his own look. 

The professional footballer, 48, turned heads when he opted for the bold and daring look in 2001 and revealed the style to the world during The World Cup.
