A Place in the Sun star Laura Hamilton has admitted she would be open to getting married a second time, after previously vowing never to walk down the aisle again.

The presenter, 42, separated from her husband Alex Goward in 2022 after 13 years together and welcoming two children.

Following the painful split, she vowed that she would not tie the knot again, but has now confessed she's changed her mind. 

Speaking to The Mirror, Laura said: 'I feel very differently about it now. Not that I necessarily believe that you need to be married to somebody for it to cement a relationship but I would be open to it.'

However, she was sure that she would not go on to have another kid, saying: '100% no more children.'

The mother-of-two opened up about her love life, revealing she was dating but insisting she wasn't 'desperate' to find love straight away, and wanted to make sure she met someone that saw her for her. 

She said: I’ve been on a few dates and I’m just enjoying myself. I’m not desperate to meet somebody. I only want it to happen when it’s right.

'I’m not on any dating apps but if I meet people just through my normal life then so be it. That’s definitely a thing for me, like meeting somebody that doesn’t just see you as Laura off A Place in the Sun but that just sees you as Laura.'

Laura announced in May 2022 that she and husband Alex had decided to end their relationship.

Confirming her split at the time, she said: 'This isn't something I ever thought I'd be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated.

'Our children are and always will be our number one priority and we would respect privacy for our family at this time.'
