The Bachelor's Arie Luyendyk Jr. said he is beginning to regret getting a vasectomy, just months after his wife Lauren Burnham gave birth to their twins, now two.

Although he initially felt his family of five was complete upon making the decision, the 42-year-old realtor admitted the choice to undergo sterilization may have been a bit premature.

In response to a fan asking if he and Burnham, 32, wanted more kids in the future, the father-of-three confessed that 'a year ago' he would have said '100% no way.'

'But, I'm feeling more and more like I rushed the vasectomy. Don't know just yet what the future holds but [right now] I'm loving this stage with them,' he replied on his Instagram Story.

The race car driver and Burnham's twins, Senna James and Lux Jacob, will turn three on June 11th.

According to Mayo Clinic, almost all vasectomies can be reversed, but that 'doesn't guarantee success in conceiving a child.'

The longer it has been since the vasectomies, the less likely it is that the reversal will work.

One month after her husband's vasectomy, she told Us Weekly that she 'wasn’t necessarily ready to close that chapter' on having more kids.

'They’re reversible if we have some heartaches in five years’ time,' her spouse chimed in. 'Five years from now, I’ll be 45. I feel like that might be a little bit too late for me to be active with [babies].'

Burnham has also stated that if they ever wanted another child that they 'both agreed' adoption would be the route they took.

In October 2021, he revealed his plans to get a vasectomy after a 'difficult' trip with three kids under three during an episode of The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous Podcast
