Lucy Watson has been hit by backlash after she shared a glimpse into postpartum life, two months after giving birth to her first child.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 33, welcomed her son Willoughby, with husband James Dunmore in March.

After eight weeks of life adjusting to being a new mother, Lucy took to her TikTok on Tuesday to say she had finally come out 'the trenches of having a newborn'.

Filming herself in her car, she said that was 'feeling brand new' after leaving Willoughby with James to go and get a facial and a matcha, while going for a drive.

Looking chic in a brown leather lazer and aviator sunglasses, Lucy said: 'If you were in the trenches of having a newborn, this is what eight weeks postpartum looks like.

'I just got a facial with my favourite facialist. Feeling brand new. Picked up an oat matcha, picked up some healthy food.

'I left my baby with my husband and some pumped milk. I've been driving around blasting my music like a teenager.'

The reality star added that she was also doing a lot better because she hasn't 'cried in a while'.

She amended: 'Well, I cried this morning cause I thought I lost my pump charger. But I don't really have many meltdowns anymore.'

Addressing her followers, Lucy concluded: 'I'm telling you, 8 weeks postpartum is it. It is it!'

She captioned the clip: '8 weeks postpartum feeling like a new woman'.

However, many of her fans were unimpressed by the video, with many pointing out that most other mothers with newborns did not have the same luxuries.

Many joked about how vastly different their own postpartum experiences were, writing: 'I love how unrelatable this is honestly no hate at all, love to see other women shining just made me giggle; Love this for you, 8 weeks postpartum had me admitted for postnatal psychosis, but LOVE this for you'

'Just got a facial with my fav facialist, honestly no shade but the majority of mums version of a facial is the steam when they open the oven door for their kids chicken nuggets; love this for you. but also so far removed from reality'.

'8 weeks postpartum I was still hysterically crying all day and it continued until 4 months PP but you do you babe x; Wait we get facials? My toddler is nearly 2 and I still haven’t had a bath yet postpartum .. if I can even call it that anymore'.

'Not sure relatable? I’m sat here 8 weeks in with stinging burning nipples with my wonderful baby, wearing sick stained jumper and singing old McDonald. Would love a facial matcha and healthy food!!; I was still a bedroom-dwelling goblin lookalike at 8 weeks'.

Others slammed Lucy for being 'out of touch' due to her 'super privilege' and said that the video was 'insensitive and damaging' to other mothers.

They wrote: 'I am genuinely glad that she's around the corner 8 weeks but I think it might be one of the most insensitive things that I ever seen on the internet; This is so out of touch it’s epic!; if this video doesn’t scream privilege I don’t know what does'.

'To start a video 'if you're in the newborn trenches' and then go and talk about the fact that you've just got a matcha and then had a facial... just read the room Lucy, read the room.'

'This is so unrealistic and not helpful for new mums. 8 weeks is no time at all. Recovery mentally and physically can take 2 years. If you’d suggested today I feel more human that would’ve been better'.

'I mean, being able to pay for facials is not really accessible for many people regardless of being 8 weeks pp. ✨So relatable ✨ Mamas it's ok if it doesn't look like this for you. You're not alone ❤️'

'To be so out of touch with reality to think this was a good video to upload? I’m shocked.; This isn’t it, and don’t worry if
