Kristen Stewart will once again star in a vampire thriller as she joins Oscar Isaac in dark new 80s movie, Flesh of the Gods.

The Oscar nominee, 34, who played Bella Swan in five Twilight films between 2008-2012, and Golden Globe winner Isaac, 45, will play a married couple who descend  from their luxury skyscraper each evening into 'an electric nighttime realm of 80’s LA' per THR.

The thriller will be directed by Panos Cosmatos, who helmed 2018 horror movie Mandy.

Flesh of the Gods is written by Se7en screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker and based on a story by Cosmatos and Walker.

Per the producers, the story follows couple, Raoul (Isaac) and Alex (Stewart), who 'cross paths with the mysterious and enigmatic woman and her hard-partying cabal, Raoul and Alex are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills, and violence.'

McKay added: 'We think it’s wildly commercial and wildly artful. Our ambitions are to make a movie that ripples through popular culture, fashion, music, and film.'

The producers hope to begin shooting later this year.

Back in January Stewart revealed that she now recognizes 'queerness' in her Twilight franchise and expressed her disdain for filming Charlie's Angels.

As for Elizabeth Banks' 2019 reboot of Charlie's Angels, Kristen didn't mince words either, admitting, 'I hated making that movie. I don’t know what else to say'.
