Netflix viewers have been raving about an anime drama, branding it as 'incredible' and 'beautiful'.
Directed by Takehiro Kuboto, the animation tells the story of Miyo Saimori (Reina Ueda) - the eldest daughter from a noble family.
Although Miyo comes from privilege her family life is far from smooth sailing, as her stepmother and half-sister both treat her poorly.
The young girl becomes doubtful she will ever escape her cruel life at home, but unbeknown to her - not everyone bears her the same ill will.
Her opportunity to escape the clutches of her brutal stepmother eventually arrives in the form of a marriage proposal.

However when the notoriously cold-hearted Kiyoka Kudou (Kaito Ishikawa) offers to take her hand in marriage - she is left with little hope her life will get better.
Their path to marriage isn't easy, with her half-sister Kaya (Lizzie Freeman) trying to thwart her marriage before it even begins.
Her stepmother also hurls a slew of threats in an attempt to get in the way of Miyo's future.
The hopeless daughter eventually believes she will end up dead on the streets, just as her parents had wanted.
