Iconic Australian actor Brian Wenzel has died aged 94.

He passed away peacefully in an Adelaide nursing home, leaving behind a legacy that spans over seven decades in the entertainment industry. 

He was to turn 95 on May 24 and passed away at an Adelaide nursing home.

Brian's wife of nearly 70 years, Linda, confirmed the sad news of his passing.

'Brian's wife of almost 70 years, Linda, phoned this morning to relay the news of his passing, saying he died peacefully,' reported Woman's Day.
