Newly-bald Ray Winstone joined Sir Rod Stewart and a stylish Penny Lancaster at a charity football event on Sunday.

The actor, 67, ditched his usual grey combed over locks and donned a bright purple tracksuit as he was seen pitch side supporting the match.

Ray and singer Rod, 79, both headed up a team of retired footballers for one match as a charity special.

The match was held at Bishop Stortford FC near Essex and was for the Charlie Dukes Fund to raise money for good causes including the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.

Rod's wife Penny, 53, looked typically stylish on the day in jeans and a beige blazer.

Ray shared some snaps from the charity day out on his Instagram and penned: 'Fabulous day yesterday at the Steve Dukes charity day for Essex and Herts air ambulance.

'Amazing turn out from the fans and players. Congratulations to Steve and family for once again putting together this fantastic event and a special thank you Rod and Penny for their support.

'Steve has raised over £200k up to now with the help of the local people. And a special shout out to the RAF boys who did the honours on the day.'

Earlier in the weekend Sir Rod beamed as he and lookalike son Aidan watched beloved team Celtic FC smash Hearts 3-0 in the Scottish Cup at Celtic Park in Glasgow on Saturday.

The iconic musician was suited and booted and spotted in the stands with the smartly dressed 12-year-old, whom he shares alongside son Alistair, 18, with wife Penny Lancaster, 53.

Sir Rod wore his blonde locks in his signature spiked style and couldn't wipe the smile off his face by the end of the game.
