A former participant on Garden Rescue has revealed a secret condition that individuals have to have to appear on the BBC show.

The series follows Charlie Dimmock and the Rich brothers competing to design gardens for homeowners around the country.

However, like all TV shows there's always behind-the-scenes details that viewers don't get told about.

A former contestant revealed that there are 'certain requirements' that the participants must meet before they can go ahead with a TV makeover.
