The controversial 2024 season of Nine's Married at First Sight has been a smashing success in the U.K.
Broadcast on Channel 4's sister station E4, the Australian version of the dating show franchise pulled in a total of 1.6million viewers over one week.
The show, which finished its run on the network on April 30, replicated its success Down Under in the U.K., becoming E4's biggest hit so far in 2024.
According to TV Tonight, MAFS Australia was also the highest rating show across all digital and pay TV channels in the UK in two key age groups: the 16-34s and the 25-54s.
The figures do not include viewers watching the show on devices like desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and phones.

MAFS Australia, meanwhile, came second to MAFS U.K. in total viewing numbers.
