Dave Hughes has claimed that his 'personal friend' Lindsay Lohan annoyed other panellists on The Masked Singer Australia.

On Thursday morning's 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin, Hughes, 53, was reminiscing on his time co-hosting The Masked Singer with Lohan, 37, and revealed the Hollywood star often held up production.

Hughesy said Lohan would often turn a 20 minute break in filming into a 3 hour break on the celebrity singing show.

'There's a moment when the head comes off and whoever's under the head has to get makeup done,' said Dave.

'So then you have a little break. But Lindsay often would make that break go for 2 to 3 hours because we couldn't get her out of her trailer...what's Lindsay doing in the trailer?!' the radio host explained, before adding that he was a big fan of The Parent Trap star.

'I enjoyed Lindsay. But she annoyed some of the other judges, I think it's fair to say.'

It comes just a day after singer and actress Bette Midler partially blamed Lohan for her sitcom getting cancelled.

The 78-year-old Beaches star had a short-lived sitcom called Bette, which aired for just one season from 2000 to 2001 on CBS, but was cancelled due to increasingly poor ratings.
