The Bachelor's Tim Robards has recalled the moment he feared he'd lose his wife Anna Heinrich.
Despite initially thinking everything had gone smoothly with the birth, Tim's wife faced sudden and severe postpartum bleeding and was rushed into emergency surgery.
'I could see the fear in the doctor's eyes that she had been through a lot, it was pretty touch and go,' the chiropractor told the Daily Telegraph.
'That's when it hit home, it is all pretty safe these days and to think I could have been a single dad with two girls hits home and makes you really appreciate having each other.'
