Tom Gleeson announced a surprise new career move on Thursday as he revealed he will be the host of a new ABC Network spin-off series.
The Hard Quiz presenter, 49, who has made a name for himself through his trademark grumpy comedy style, will now be hosting a show for children.
Due to the success of his top-rated trivia series, ABC will be creating a spin-off titled Hard Quiz Kids with Tom at the helm, reported news.com.au.
Contestants will be aged 10 to 13, but that won't stop Tom from delivering his usual hard-hitting quips and gutter humour.
'I don't hold back with these kids… but they are all obsessed with roasting these days, so they often gang up on me,' Tom said of the upcoming show.
