A Place in the Sun host Leah King-Charles has urged fans to 'kick up a stink' after she was cut from the current series. 

The popular Channel 4 property show has recently returned to screens, much to the delight of viewers. 

However, fans have been left disappointed after learning host Leah will not be returning for this series. 

While hosts Jasmine Harman, Lee Juggurnauth and Laura Hamilton continue to house hunt with a new batch of sun-seeking Brits, Leah has been absent from episodes. 

As one inquisitive fan took to Twitter, they asked: ' Afternoon all, it's Ben again today - have we had lovely @leahcharlesking on this run of new episodes yet #aplaceinthesun'.

Replying to the Tweet, Leah confirmed: 'Unfortunately not. And I won't appear in this current new run either, I'm afraid, Placers! But hopefully the next one.'

She then added: 'Feel free to kick up a stink about it.'

Fans were left furious and disappointed as they joked they would protest to get her back on screens. 

Sharing a meme of the Calimero cartoon which read: 'It's an injustice it is', Leah replied with a series of laughing emojis. 

Others wrote: 'That's criminal - hoping we can expect a completely Leah-centric series soon considering all the episodes of yours they've got in their back pocket'.

'Well that’s a shame we love you on the show Leah'; 'Why?! We're protesting starting from now!'; 'That's a shame x'; 'No Leah? We riot!'

'That's a little unfair. I love the way you refuse to suffer fools. Some of the participants must be pretty annoying.'
