Britney Spears shares video of herself wearing see-through dress from day ... trends now

Britney Spears was checking herself out while wearing a see-through dress in her latest Instagram post.

The pop star, 42, shared a video of herself late Monday evening and explained in her caption that she had filmed the footage right before she severely injured her foot earlier this month.

Since the drama-filled night with her felon boyfriend at the Chateau Marmont at the beginning of May, she had been sharing updates on her healing journey and is now posting earlier, self-taken videos.

In her new post, she was seen swaying to the tune of Robin Thicke's Lost Without U and running her hands over her scantily-clad body in an entirely sheer dress covered in sparkling sequins. 

Leaving little to the imagination, her light-colored bra with black straps as well as her hot pink thong were fully visible.

She wore a pair of taupe, pointed-toe shoes, as well as a black string choker with a dainty gold pendant, as she moved to the music.

In her caption, Spears said that she had filmed the video prior to her seriously injuring her ankle during a drama-filled night with her felon boyfriend at the Chateau Marmont earlier this month.

'This is weirdly enough the day before I broke my foot!!! You can see my face looks younger and I'm a bit heavier,' she began.

Explaining why she looked 'younger,' she said: 'Because well I don't have paps and the news messing with me and making me a nervous wreck!!!'

In the time since her concerning display at the Los Angeles hotel on May 2, she said: 'I've lost a lot of weight since then.'

As she continued, Spears also teased unspecified, 'exciting projects' she has been working on and said they are 'on the way.'
