She is one of the most iconic bakers of our generation - having published more than 75 recipe books across her forty year career.
But Mary Berry has admitted to Woman & Home that carving a career in the 1970s and 80s as a mother with young children had been an incredibly difficult feat at the time.
The master baker, 81, looked truly stunning as she posed with her daughter Annabel Bosher for the magazine shoot - where she confessed to feeling 'guilty' about leaving her kids at home in their youth, to embark on her culinary projects.

Posing in co-ordinating pink jumpers, the mother-daughter duo looked the spitting image of each other, as they revealed what family life had been like while Mary was a best-selling author and on TV.
The pair explained that Mary would go out to work while her husband Paul dealt with the school run and cared for the kids until his wife's return - a situation that had not been common in those days.
However the Bake Off star admitted she has no regrets about doing it in light of the 40-year-career that followed, confessing: 'I was a working mum when there weren't many working mums. It wasn't easy, but I'm very glad I did.'

Acknowledging that she had wanted to spend more time with her offspring however, she added: 'When the children were young, I did feel very guilty, though.
'So I reckon I was not the best mum. I enjoy my children far more now than when they were young.'
Mary has more than made up for her hectic working schedule now, as she now lives less than an hour away from Annabel and her three children - Louis, 12, Hobie, ten, and Atlanta, six.
Chic! Mary later changed into a striking pink Altuzarra suit for the shoot (above) - proving her style has not faltered in her age
'I'm very involved with my grandchildren, too,' Mary gushed to the magazine. 'I love having them over – and I don't like giving them back!'
Having released her first book in 1970, Mary has found a new wave of fame in recent years, after scoring a judging role on beloved BBC series The Great British Bake Off.
