MasterChef viewers call 150-step pressure test dish awful

It was one of the hardest pressure tests in MasterChef history, and saw fan favourite Sarah Tiong eliminated from MasterChef on Monday.

And during the episode, viewers took to Twitter to comment on how unappealing the 150-step pressure test dish looked.

Created by Chef Shaun Quade, the bottom three - Sarah, Diana and Karlie -  had to recreate his 'Pearl On The Ocean Floor'.

However, the intricate dish didn't seem to appeal to some audiences.

'Who would seriously order that at a restaurant?' one fan wrote on Twitter.

Another tweeted: 'I think the dish looks awful. He spent time at Biota and I found that a particularly underwhelming restaurant.'
