Ross (Aiden Turner) and Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) have been going strong since they fell madly in love with each other in series one of Poldark.
But Eleanor has hinted the couple's marriage may be on the rocks when the heroine is seduced by dashing suitor Hugh Armitage (Josh Whitehouse) in Sunday's finale.
The flame-haired Beauty, 25, told The Radio Times this week: 'Demelza loves Ross, but she doesn’t need him to the extent that she once did.'

Viewers were left horrified when Ross stole a steamy smooch from his childhood sweetheart Elizabeth (Heida Reed) in the latest episode.
But as Poldark and Demelza grow further and further apart, the new man on the scene has began trying to win over the heroine's affections.
Hugh didn't hold back on his feelings in last week's episode as he boldly declared: 'Now I'm going away I can't bear the thought of losing you.'
In an upcoming passionate scene, the golden-haired hunk sweeps the Beauty off to the sand dunes where he asks her whether she will sleep with him in the heat of the moment.
