She put on a showstopping display at the premiere of her latest work, Top Of The Lake: China Girl in Sydney on Tuesday.
And now Nicole Kidman has revealed she hopes the series will be the first of many where she can use her natural accent.
Speaking with the Sydney Morning Herald this week, the 50-year-old announced her desire to continue attracting roles that call on her Australian roots.

The Hollywood star said filming on home turf for the series had also been a welcome change.
'I got off the plane and I came to rehearsal and I just felt so at ease and relaxed and at home.'
