They're the Sydney pals with dreams of life on an international stage. 

And aspiring professional DJs Sarah Ayoub and Marianne Toumblaris make no secret of their desire to conquer the male-dominated club music scene. 

Speaking with the Daily Telegraph this week, the friends said they felt the time was right for them to step into the spotlight.

According to the publication, the girls have danced on 'Pacha' Saturday nights at Sydney 'superclub' Ivy for years.

But they've got their sights set on bigger and better things, with goals to join the likes of Australian female DJ sensations Havana Brown and Tigerlily.

'We have been in the background for years, but now is our time to step-up,' Marianne told the publication.
