Edward Norton buys Stevens House in Malibu for $11.8m

Edward Norton has purchased the iconic Stevens House in Malibu.

The 47-year-old actor bought the famous John Lautner-designed home for $11.8 million, having watched the price fall from $22 million when it was first listed in 2013.

The actor is best know for the movies Fight Club, Primal Fear and The Incredible Hulk.

The architectural masterpiece is located in the Malibu Colony, an uber-private celeb haven nestled on the stunning California coastline.

Built in 1968 by the famous architect, it is designed to resemble the waves of the Pacific it overlooks just feet away.

Constructed of concrete and wood, it boasts five bedrooms, five bathrooms and 3,366 square feet of space.

According to Trulia, it sits on a 37ft stretch of beachfront, with a large beach deck, grassy yard and swimming pool 

It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a California State Cultural Landmark.
