Gabby Allen was overcome with emotion as she discussed the vile racial abuse she and boyfriend Marcel Somerville have faced since leaving the Love Island villa.
Speaking on Wednesday's episode of Lorraine, the 25-year-old fitness instructor put on an united front with her beau amid the slew of abuse, later explaining that they were still planning to get engaged and marry in the future.
Speaking about the shocking messages she has received - which she made public in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Gabby revealed: 'I just couldn’t believe in this day and age that I was ever going to come out to that.'

She continued: 'I’ve grown up in multicultural cities and had have lots of different friends... and to have to deal with that it felt like a personal attack.'
Clearly distressed by the shocking comments, Gabby added: 'We don’t hear about it as much as it's hidden but it's still going on and we need to hear about it.'
Their united front came after Gabby took to Instagram to reveal: 'Right guys so I have been reading through some of the messages I've received over the past few weeks and I'm absolutely horrified at the amount of disgusting racial abuse due mine and Marcel's relationship.
