WWE Hall of Famer-in waiting Paul Heyman has opened up on his partnership with Roman Reigns.

Heyman was confirmed as the first inductee of the 2024 class to be inducted in WrestleMania season, having shone for the company for over two decades in a managerial and broadcast role.

In 2020, he aligned with Reigns, who was highly-rated but searching for direction following a much-needed heel turn, and has helped transform the star into one of the most popular stars in the company.

Reigns has held the WWE Universal Championship since that year, defeating Bray Wyatt to win the title, and unified the belt with the WWE Championship at WrestleMania in 2022 as one of the biggest acts in wrestling.

Speaking via the New York Post, Heyman outlined the plan for the pair's on-screen relationship and story, revealing they were aiming high from the start.
