Paul Ince has revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson once 'went for' him after he told him to 'go and f*** yourself'.
Ince joined United in 1989 from West Ham, enjoying a six-year stay with the club before departing for Inter Milan in 1995 and going onto play for the likes of Liverpool and Wolves.
While at United he won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups, one League Cup and one Super Cup playing under Ferguson, who reigned at United for another 18 years after Ince left the club.
The pair had endured a somewhat mixed relationship, with Ferguson once branding Ince a 'bottle job' before agreeing his sale to Inter for £7.5milion, which was one of the biggest fees involving an English club at the time.
Now, speaking to Simon Jordan on William Hill's Up Front podcast, Ince revealed how he nearly came to blows with his manager in a changing room row.
