sport news Revealed: Every Premier League club's most valuable player based on ... trends now
Every Premier League club's most valuable player based on points-per-game has been revealed, with some surprising outcomes at the likes of Manchester United and Man City.
The players, as reported by the Telegraph, are based on points-per-game won since the start of last season in games that they have featured in.
Players eligible are those who have made a minimum appearance total of 35 games in that time, with the only exceptions being promoted sides Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town.
One of the biggest surprises comes at Manchester City, where despite Rodri being on an unbeaten run that stretches over the course of a full calendar year, it is actually Jack Grealish (2.55) who has the best points-per game record out of anyone in the Premier League.
The biggest contributing factor is that Grealish has a 81 per cent win record when he has featured for Man City, compared to Rodri's 75. However, the Spaniard has made 61 appearances since the start of last season, while Grealish has made 42.
