Nearly half of all NFL teams showed an interest in signing former rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit following his shock switch to football.
The 23-year-old has agreed a deal to join the Kansas City Chiefs, with his move to the Super Bowl champions set to be finalized on Friday.
Rees-Zammit had also met with the New York Jets, the Cleveland Browns, and Denver Broncos following 10 weeks with the International Player Pathway.
But, according to the player's agent, more than 12 of the league's 32 teams had shown an interest in the former Wales wing.
