Alex Rodriguez and his billionaire business partner Marc Lore have rebuked the notion they can no longer have the controlling stake of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, a spokesperson for Rodriguez said the duo has 'fulfilled our obligations' and they have 'all necessary funding' to buy the Timberwolves.
Earlier Thursday, Taylor put out a statement saying Rodriguez and Lore did not complete the agreement and the Timberwolves were no longer for sale.
Lore and Rodriguez dispute that, calling Taylor's actions 'an unfortunate case of seller's remorse'.
