Luke Littler's combined Manchester United and Liverpool team raised a few eyebrows, ahead of the heavyweight clash between the two at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils welcome Jurgen Klopp's side to Manchester on Sunday afternoon, hoping to scupper their title ambitions and resurrect their own dwindling Champions League aspirations this term.

Erik ten Hag's side are 22 points worse off than their upcoming opponents but that didn't stop the Warrington native - and United fan - from choosing several of his favourites.

Undeniable Liverpool selections included Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, while Andy Robertson won out over Luke Shaw and Dominik Szoboszlai was given the nod ahead of Scott McTominay.

But the choice of Diogo Dalot over Trent Alexander-Arnold sent some fans into a frenzy on social media, with one even questioning their sanity.
