Not even glowing praise from the greatest golfer of all time is enough to distract Rory McIlroy on his mission to seal a career Grand Slam.
Almost 10 years since winning the PGA Championship, McIlroy heads to the Masters this week still in search of the elusive fourth and final major to add to his collection.
The Northern Irishman has endured a drought since clinching his third different major at Valhalla in July 2014, with his second-place finish in Augusta two years ago the closest he has come to ending it over the past decade.
Yet, in his latest bid to finally win a Green Jacket and complete an illustrious clean sweep, Rory has the backing of an all-time great in close friend Tiger Woods.
'No question he'll do it at some point,' Woods said on Tuesday when asked about McIlroy's Grand Slam chances. 'Rory's too talented, too good, and he's gonna be playing this event for a very long time. He'll get it done. It's just a matter of when.'
