Kate Abdo broke down in tears while speaking about her late father on an episode of her weekly football show 'Kickin' It'. 

The 42-year-old CBS presenter was visibly emotional as she revealed how her father, Tom Giles, had passed away in December. 

Abdo - who is a Manchester United fan - used to spend time travelling to Old Trafford with her father to watch the Red Devils in action. 

The British broadcaster said the time she spent watching sport with her father meant 'everything' to her and insisted it taught her a lot.
