Arsenal's Champions League 'journey' tweet was mocked on social media after Wednesday night's defeat to Bayern Munich

A second-half header from Joshua Kimmich gave the German giants a 1-0 win on the night and a 3-2 victory over the Gunners on aggregate, to reach the semi-finals of Europe's elite club competition.

Arsenal finished top of Group B, beating PSV Eindhoven, Lens and Sevilla to the summit, before squeezing their way past Porto on penalties last month in the Round of 16.
