Jamie Carragher says going from Feyenoord to Liverpool would be 'a huge jump' for Dutch manager Arne Slot.
Slot has emerged as serious candidate to become Jurgen Klopp’s successor as Liverpool intensify their search for a new manager.
The 45-year-old is regarded as one of the most progressive coaches in European football and recently guided Feyenoord to victory in the KNVB Cup.
However, Carragher worried the Liverpool job may be too much of a 'jump' for the man who was considered by both Tottenham and Chelsea last summer.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of Liverpool's clash with Everton, Carragher said: 'What I would say is (going) from Feyenoord to Liverpool is a huge jump.'

The former footballer went on to add: 'I think it shows that at this moment there's probably a dearth of real top managers out there.
'I don't think it's like Rafa Benitez coming in or Jurgen Klopp coming in. Benitez coming in from the back of two league titles and a UEFA Cup or Jurgen Klopp coming in from winning a couple of league titles with Dortmund, getting to a Champions League final.'
Klopp announced on January 26 that he would be ending his nine season stay at Anfield in May - much to the fans' dismay.
