Former World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall has smashed the record for the hardest punch in the world, just two weeks after UFC star Alex Pereira set the prior benchmark.
Pereira obliterated Francis Ngannou's old record on the PowerKube, scoring 191,796 units of power to land the hardest punch in the world. Ngannou had previously topped the list with 129,161, before UFC fighter Joe Pyfer beat that with a score of 170,218 units.
The PowerKube is a device that measures the power of a single strike, with a padded target hooked up to a computer and data delivered in real time.
Hall has now recorded a new landmark high with a staggering 208,901 on the machine.
The 36-year-old won the World's Strongest Man contest in 2017 and retired from his strongman career the following year.
