Richmond great Matthew Richardson was an incredible AFL player, but his golf swing may need more work after he was roasted live on air by two-time Majors champion Bubba Watson.

Richardson played 800 goals in 282 games and was working the commentary desk during the  Port Adelaide vs. St Kilda game at Adelaide Oval.

Presented with a video of Richardson missing the ball on a drive attempt, Watson was asked for any tips to improve Richardson's technique.

'The set up was there,' Watson agreed. 'It looked like the ball was going to go for miles.

'And then it went nowhere.'

Watson had played a first-round score of two-under-par 70 at The Grange earlier that day, with his team, RangeGoats GC, ranking sixth in the LIV competition.
