Sol Campbell wants the Premier League to officially honour Arsenal's incredible 'Invincibles' season and claimed Manchester United and Liverpool would get more recognition if they had achieved the same feat.

The upcoming end of the season marks the 20-year anniversary since the Gunners became the only team in English football to go the entirety of the season unbeaten as they lifted the Premier League title.

Arsenal successfully navigated their way through 38 top-flight fixtures without being beaten on their way to the title, with no team able to replicate their stunning achievement since.

Former manager Arsene Wenger received a golden Premier League trophy in recognition of the achievement when he left the club in 2018, but club legend Campbell fumed it was 'embarrassing' the players hadn't received special awards as well.
