An investigation has been launched after a spectator hurled a racist slur at a rugby league player in NSW during a match between Thirlmere and Campbelltown Collegians.
A Collegians player of Polynesian descent is understood to have been the victim of the alleged abuse during the match which was streamed live on YouTube after the team's victory at Thirlmere Sports Ground.
A female voice in the crowd is heard yelling 'get back on your boat', among a number of other profanities.
