Footy fans have immortalised the tree that NRL commentator Paul Kent was thrown into in an alleged street fight on a Sydney street by turning it into a local landmark on Google Maps.

Footage went viral on social media on Sunday morning showing Kent and another man arguing outside the Three Weeds hotel in the inner-west Sydney suburb of Rozelle before their altercation allegedly turned physical.

In the clip, Kent can be heard calling the other man a 'doghead' before they allegedly get into a physical clash that spills across the road from the venue.

The footage shows the commentator allegedly being thrown into a tree and landing head-first in the gutter before picking himself up off the ground.
