Newcastle United's Miguel Almiron has been fined £1,550 for speeding on a busy road on the outskirts of the city.
While Paraguayan international Almiron pleaded guilty to two charges on April 26, the news only emerged on Wednesday, the same day as Man City's Jack Grealish was similarly forced to cough up £666 for speeding in a 30mph zone.
The England star insulted the Newcastle forward in a drunken dig in 2022 - but later revealed that he regretted the incident.
Almiron was caught exceeding the 30mph speed limit on the A167 on the outskirts of Newcastle in an Audi Q5, and then failed to identify himself to the police after the incident on November 10 2022.
The 30-year-old pleaded guilty to both charges on April 26 of this year at South Tyneside Magistrates Court, and was handed a fine of £1,550 and three points on his license.
