Kelsey Plum is ready to put a difficult offseason behind her and focus purely on basketball for the Las Vegas Aces after her divorce from husband Darren Waller. 

The 29-year-old Plum was married to Waller, the New York Giants tight end, for a year but the couple shocked fans by announcing at the end of April that they were breaking up.

Now, speaking to KWU-TV, Plum opened up on her difficulties off the court.

'The offseason's been tough for me,' she said. 'I’m sure, everyone knows, it’s pretty public, but for me, I’m super grateful. 

'I think my faith has grown tremendously. And not just that but I know who I am, and like, you kind of get refined by fire.'
